Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for over ten decades. She was part as captain for the US Olympic women's gymnastics team Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). In 2012 the team, she won gold at the team events and also the floor exercise. On the balance beam Raisman received the bronze medal. She was the only American to win the most medals at an Olympics. She took gold for team in the 2016 Olympics and also made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to have back-to-back golds. The silver medals she won came from the floor-based individual and all-around event. She took a break of three years between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. In addition she was a part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics squads. She began learning gymnastics in the age of 2 and her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly donates her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in memory of her deceased grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include growing her collection of leotards. The book she is working on is entitled Fierce which will come out at the end of this year.
